Dates apply to Anthropic-operated platforms (Claude API, Claude Platform on AWS, Microsoft Foundry). Partner-operated platforms (Amazon Bedrock, Vertex AI) set their own retirement schedules. Lifecycle terms: Active = fully supported and recommended; Legacy = no longer updated, may be deprecated later; Deprecated = still functional but not recommended, has a retirement date; Retired = no longer available, requests fail. Anthropic gives at least 60 days notice before retiring publicly released models. "Not sooner than" retirement dates are tentative.
